Ayla Majid (MBA ’00) has made history as the first South Asian and Muslim woman to lead the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)—a prestigious global organisation representing over 252,500 members and 526,000 future members across 180 countries.
Ayla is also the Founder and CEO of Planetive, a decarbonisation and sustainability advisory firm operating across Pakistan and the Middle East. With over 20 years of investment and advisory experience in energy, infrastructure, and digital innovation, she is recognised as a leading voice in clean energy finance and climate action in emerging markets. She brings a wealth of expertise to this new leadership role.
