Dr. Mariam Chughtai holds a Doctorate and two Master's degrees in Education from Harvard University. She set up the School of Education at LUMS, where she is a faculty member, and is Pakistan Director for the Harvard Mittal South Asia Institute. As Director of the National Curriculum Council, she led the development of Pakistan's first Core Curriculum for Grades 1–12. She is CEO of the Chughtai Institute of Leadership and Learning and of Chughtai International School, founded as Pakistan's first IB World School exclusively for Early Years. on her forthcoming book on the politics of making and breaking identity through education in Pakistan.
