SDSB Luminites Association is honored to host Mr. Zafar Masud, survivor of the PK8303 tragedy and author of the powerful memoir Seat 1C, for an unforgettable evening of reflection and resilience.
About the Author:
Mr. Zafar Masud is a prominent Pakistani banker, currently serving as the President & CEO of The Bank of Punjab, Chairman of OGDCL, and Chairman of the Pakistan Bank's Association.
In May 2020, Mr. Masud boarded a flight to Karachi—unaware it would change his life forever. He was one of only two people who survived the devastating plane crash that followed. At this book launch, he will share his remarkable story of survival and resilience, recounting the life-altering experience that shaped Seat 1C. Mr. Masud will reflect on navigating intense pressure, making critical decisions, and the deep lessons that come with a second chance at life.
