In our next episode of ALUMS Chat, we are delighted to welcome Adnan Ahmed Qureshi (BSc '10), a Fulbright Scholar, education innovator, and social impact leader, for an inspiring conversation on transforming education through technology, innovation, and equitable access to learning.
Adnan is a passionate advocate for advancing global literacy and equitable education, working at the intersection of educational technology, cognitive neuroscience, and education practice. A LUMS alumnus and graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he earned a Master’s degree in Mind, Brain, and Education, Adnan has dedicated his career to developing solutions that make quality learning more accessible to underserved communities.
As a founding member and Vice President of Teach the World Foundation, Adnan works to scale digital learning solutions for children who are out of school. The foundation currently supports more than 25,000 learners across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malawi, and South Sudan, with plans to reach an additional 30,000 children in 2027.
Over the years, Adnan has worked with leading organisations including Teach for Pakistan, Citizens Archive of Pakistan, LUMS, IBA, and Karachi Grammar School, building expertise across education, technology, innovation, and social impact.
His work has received significant international recognition. Adnan was recently named among the 2026 Global Forty Under 40 and is a Now Go Build CTO Fellow with Amazon VP/CTO Dr. Werner Vogels, a 2025 EDSAFE AI Alliance Catalyst Fellow, and a 2025–2026 Global Eahou Immersion Cohort Fellow. His work has also earned recognition through the World Bank Ideas4Action 2020 Challenge, MIT Solve LEAPS Challenge 2023, and Theirworld Innovation Award 2026, alongside finalist positions for the MIT Solve Learning Challenge and the Kirby Impact Scaling Prize. His work has also been featured by UNESCO and Harvard.
